At SunArch Academy, we've designed our admissions process to be as smooth and stress-free as possible for all involved. We understand that this is a critical time, and our team is fully committed to providing support, guidance, and clear communication every step of the way. We're here to answer your questions, address your concerns, and ensure that the transition into our treatment programs is seamless for your teen.
Our primary goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where your teen can begin their healing journey. - Simplify administrative work related to treatment or insurance coverage
Admissions Timeline
Admission time varies based on the issues a patient is experiencing. We understand how important it is to get help as quickly as possible. Typical ranges from initial call to admittance look like this:
Residencial Treatment:
- Patients are typically admitted within 3-10 days.
- Out-of-state patients may require additional time to arrange transportation.
- Teens admitted through the Division of Family Services may require additional time for court approval.
SunArch Admission Process
For teens coming to our residential treatment facility, the process can look different for each adolescent.
- Obtain a referral from your doctor or contact us to begin the admission process.
- Within two business hours of the initial contact, we will reach out to schedule a parent interview and adolescent assessment. During this time we will gather basic information.
– The parent interview is done via phone or video call.
– We prefer the adolescent assessment is done by video call, but phone calls can be done as well. - In the final step, our clinical team reviews the adolescent information. If the case fits our facility, admission forms are sent, and we coordinate with both insurance companies and parents to get admission scheduled as soon as possible.
